“Silent” ACTH-secreting pituitary carcinoma: case report

Introduction: Pituitary carcinomas are extremely rare neoplasms and molecular events leading to malignant pituitary transformation are largely unknown.Case report: 36-year-old man turned to the clinic for visual and oculomotor disorders. A large endo-supra-latero(S)sellar tumor was found on MRI. There was also an increase in the level of ACTH in the blood (60,80 pmol/l (normal values 5–49)).
